11th Annual Port of Los Angeles Cars & Stripes Forever
The annual Cars & Stripes Forever! event returns for 2022. This popular free pre-Independence Day celebration features classic cars, live bands, a beer garden, and a grand fireworks finale.
Over 100 classic cars built before 1975 are on display. Live music is featured on two stages, with performances by The Jokers, In Contempt, Midlife Crisis, Jetpack, Purple Sugar, and Identity Crisis. Food trucks and a beer garden offer refreshments for purchase.
And for the grand finale, a fireworks show at 9:15pm.
The event is held at Harbor Boulevard and Swinford Street - adjacent to the Fanfare Fountains on the LA Waterfront, just below the the Vincent Thomas Bridge. A free shuttle to and from Downtown San Pedro will be available, as well as low-cost parking at Harbor Blvd. and 1st Street.
