We visited with a group of teenagers at the end of June, and while we spent a little over three hours here, we could have easily extended our stay. Read on about our quest to try all the things on offer at this mega space.

Two dozen players at a time can get in on the laser tag action.
Indoor Dry Adventures at Scott's Pointe
We recommend starting with the dry attractions. Pop into the post-apocalyptic Hampton-themed laser tag room for a competition under the black lights. Here, you’re not fighting teams—it’s every player for themselves in a points-based free-for-all. Be sure to take in the murals of iconic East End spots that cover the walls and structures.
While in competition mode, make your way over to the rock walls with varying degrees of difficulty. Or go face-to-face with a friend or family member in the clear plexiglass, dual-sided race wall. Spoiler alert: This mom lost to her agile teen son. Then take a swing at axe-throwing in one of their two cozy alleys. The ninja warrior wall in the center features several hanging structures that all require significant upper-body strength.
After a brief rest at one of the plush conversation pits, we continued for more adventure-filled fun.
The boys tried their swing at the large-screen golf simulator, where up to six guests can play at a time. A little more my speed, we then made our way over to the nine-hole mini golf course. That was followed by a quick ping pong battle, and mom took the win here. Then, the boys let loose in the arcade. From carnival-style games and sports-themed video games to multi-screen VR racing consoles and driving simulators, every gamer will be pleased.
All of the above are in one large, airplane-hanger-style setting, allowing parents to keep a close eye on things in a centralized location.
Best Activities for Younger Kids at Scott's Pointe
If you have littles in tow, there's an entire room off to the side that caters to crawlers to age 10ish. The room has a soft play corner with rugs, gym climbers, and even a mini ball pit. For walkers, foam blocks, an imaginary playhouse, soft gym equipment, and more round out a separate area. Two smaller trampolines give way to a giant foam pit that is begging to be jumped in. I watched our teen dive into the foam pit because age is just a number when there’s foam involved.
There's also an enclosed, multi-tiered climbing playground with a mini ninja course, slides, and netted hangout areas. Three kid-sized climbing walls are equipped with harnesses for little daredevils under age 12. Just outside this room was a small bumper car area, also suitable for children aged 10 and under, and we did experience some FOMO since we were aged out of it.
Indoor Surfing at Scott's Pointe
Amidst all of these flashy attractions sits Quarter-Pipe ProFlow Wave indoor surfing structure. It's the wow factor upon arrival, and it's unlike any other similar indoor surfing attraction we've seen. Four massive jets create a rushing wave that lets bodyboarders and surfers ride one-on-one with expert instructors.
I didn’t think the kids would stand a chance, but they were hanging ten like pros by the end of the session. It was quite cool to watch them progress. Do note that participants must be 46” to bodyboard and 52” to surf.
Aquapark Floating Playground
There's nothing like the Scott's Pointe aquapark on Long Island. The site, in itself, took us a few moments to soak in. This massive, 2.2-acre, state-of-the-art inflatable playground on the lake boasts challenging obstacle courses, floating bridges, lofty blob, and more.
Each zone offers an exciting way to race your friends and family to the finish, which is exactly what we did. It’s exhausting, hilarious, and crazy fun. Life jackets are mandatory, and you’ll need to be at least 48" tall to join the fun. Sessions are timed at one or two hours, and lifeguards are always on duty.
Parents can watch from the beach or the tiered turf lawns overlooking the lake. The aquapark is fully staffed with lifeguards, and guests can stay for one or two-hour timed sessions.

More Recreational Activities at Scott's Pointe: Pickleball, Go-Karts, and Relaxation Zones
Dink your way over to the opposite end of Scott's Point and you'll find a few new pickleball courts to paddle around. This is a free activity.
If you're looking to go-kart, a nearly 1-mile blacktop paved, 22-turn course hugs the lake. Single and double occupancy karts can whip around at speeds up to 20mph (and 40mph karts are in the works). Additionally, each ride lasts 7-8 minutes, making for an epic experience.
Meanwhile, if you're just looking for a place to plop, Scott's Pointe has patio sets, Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and beach seats.
Dining Options at Scott's Pointe
The Lakeview Grill is a full-service restaurant with juicy burgers, steaks, and gorgeous lake views. Snack kiosks and a full bar are nearby too, perfect for mid-adventure fuel-ups or post-park hangs.
