Make a stop at LIM during Three Village Historical Society’s Annual Culper Spy Day.

Take this limited opportunity to see the recently discovered Culper Spy letter on display. The handwritten letter dated November 8, 1779, from Benjamin Tallmadge (using his alias, John Bolton) to Robert Townsend (alias, Samuel Culper Jr.) is the only known surviving letter between the two. Also spend time with our world-famous carriage collection, and take part in the carriage museum scavenger hunt to find period-relevant vehicles.

Book Fair: Providing the community with access to a vast selection of gently used books for all age groups, most books at this fair will be priced at $4 or less. From children's books to cookbooks, self-help and more, folks can find literary treasures abound at this fair.

Donations: Book donations for the Inaugural LIM  Book Fair are being accepted through August 31.  For more information about donating books, contact Lynn Adler at ladler@longislandmuseum.org or call 631-751-0066, ext. 283. Note: book donations are tax-deductible.
