The Long Beach Mardi Gras celebration is the largest free Mardi Gras on the West Coast. The free festival fills Shoreline Village with plenty of entertainment, including Zydeco music, street entertainers, bead throwing with 5,000+ necklaces, face painting, New Orleans-style food, a parade and a plenty of free entertainment..

Parade starts at 2:30pm.

You can watch or participate in the parade. Participating is free; you just need a costume and registration in advance, (info to come).

Parking sells out quickly for this event, so consider a rideshare.
