The annual Balboa Island Parade files down Marine Ave. on Sunday with star-spangled floats, festooned tricycles, marching bands, antique cars carrying local dignitaries, fire trucks, and gussied-up dogs in the island's biggest event of the summer.

This year's theme is “Celebrating 30 Years on Balboa Island - A Tribute to Our First Responders”

The length of the parade is approximately two and one-half blocks. 

The fun continues with the ‘After Parade Event’ featuring local band M Street, (in front of the Fire Station).
