The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Zhongqiu Festival, is a popular harvest festival celebrated in China for over 3,000 years. 

The festival celebrates the full harvest moon and is a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest, and to celebrate and share the generous bounty with family.

Highlights include a children's parade.
