HTX Diwali 2025 - Shine Your Light Over Houston at POST
Everyone is invited to celebrate HTX Diwali 2025, a vibrant, citywide Festival of Lights honoring the triumph of light over darkness and the spirit of community, joy, and renewal. Hosted by T2 Dance Company and POST Houston, this free, all-ages event brings the beauty and energy of Diwali to the heart of the city through a full day of dance, music, culture, and connection.
Highlights of the day include yoga on the rooftop, Bollywood and Bhangra dance classes, cultural crafts, saree-tying demonstrations, a Diwali shopping bazaar, storytelling, live performances, and a rooftop dance party to close out the celebration.
Families will especially enjoy:
Hands-on cultural arts and crafts with Omnaments
A Diwali Baraat & Cultural Fashion Show
Dance lessons for all ages throughout the day
Festive photo ops and interactive activities
Guests are encouraged to dress in festive attire and celebrate the season of light with the whole community.
This is a free event, but advance registration is encouraged
