Families are invited to the Houston Zoo for a special Día de los Muertos celebration, featuring glowing decorations, festive photo ops, and a chance to see La Catrina, the iconic symbol of the holiday.

At the center of the event is a traditional ofrenda honoring animals who have passed, where guests can contribute photos or artwork in a heartfelt community tribute. Stop by the craft station, where kids and adults alike can draw or create artwork of their favorite animal to include. It’s a fun and meaningful way for the whole family to take part in this beautiful tradition.
