Celebrate the Harlem Renaissance and the Schomburg's engagement with authors of African descent and a century championing literacy and intellectual exploration in Harlem during this celebration that unites book lovers, authors, and comic book creators on 135th Street between Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevards in Harlem.

The festival features readings, panel discussions, workshops, photo activations, a bookish marketplace, a mobile library, and more.

Close the day with musical performances and an old-school block party.
