February Outdoor Fun at IAIS
Looking for something fun and educational to do with your family during President’s Day weekend? Stop by for an exciting afternoon of educational activities inspired by the lifeways and lessons of local Native Americans. IAIS Education Staff will offer an action-packed program featuring a variety of games and activities.
Weather permitting, play games such as snow snake, snow boat, and hoop and pole. Many such games have been traditionally used to teach valuable life skills that are still important today.
After the fun and games, create a keepsake to take home. This family-friendly event is open to learners of all ages, but is best suited for children ages 6 to 12.
An adult must remain on premises while children are participating in the activities. As portions of this program will be outside, participants should come prepared for the weather.
