- see all dates
Attend another celebration of Derby’s 350th anniversary at the Osborne Homestead Museum’s holiday event “A Derby Holiday”! Learn about inventors and businesses that originated in Connecticut’s smallest city. The holiday tours will run from November 28 through December 20, 2025.
Tours will be offered Thursdays through Sundays from 10AM to 4PM. On Fridays, December 5, 12, and 19, the museum will present “Twilight Tours” to display the amber glow of the decorations from 4PM to 7PM.
For more than thirty years, volunteers have created the amazing holiday decorations at the museum. These talented and committed decorators are Derby Garden Society, Garden Club of Orange, Garden Club of Woodbridge, Long Hill Garden Club, Naugatuck Garden Club, Olde Ripton Garden Club of Shelton, Women Redefining Retirement Milford, and Ye Olde Kellogg Garden Club.
This year’s holiday theme will pay homage to the city of the Derby which is celebrating its 350th anniversary. Inventions, businesses, such as Charlton Comics and Trim Nail Company, and the Osborne family’s influence in the city of Derby will be highlighted in the holiday showcase.
