If your kids are bouncing off the walls of your house, and it's too cold, hot, humid, rainy, snowy, windy, or whatever other weather condition Chicago can come up with to to go outside, trampoline parks are almost always there for you in your neighborhood or suburb. Some are strictly trampolines while others include a variety of different obstacles or challenges for kids to participate in active play.

You can also check the website at each of these locations to see if they offer a toddler time, which is usually on weekdays in the morning or early afternoon hours and limited to kids under a certain age or height. This is great for when you don't want your toddler being knocked around by big kids. But, if your local trampoline park doesn't offer that option, check out our list of top indoor play spaces for toddlers. And check out our Guide to Indoor Play Spaces for Chicago Kids for more temperature-controlled fun.

1. Get Air — Des Plaines and Downers Grove

We like this one because it's about half trampolines and half "other stuff." Our kids like catapulting into the pit of foam blocks, trying to balance on the balance beam, jousting, and the couple of small climbing walls that are offered alongside the main jumping. There's also an area just for kids under 46" that involves more climbing and is restricted from the bigger kids, making it a little more calm.

2. Altitude — West Town, Roscoe Village, Skokie, Lombard, Oswego, and coming soon to Schaumburg

In addition to the main jumping courts, many Altitude locations offer dodgeball and basketball. There's also a ninja course and a littler kids obstacle course for jumpers of different ages to enjoy. Visit on weekend evenings for glow parties, or book your own birthday party at one of the soon-to-be six Chicago area locations.

3. Urban Air — Naperville, Mokena, North Riverside, Crystal Lake, Glenview, Vernon Hills, St. Charles, Bloomingdale and coming soon to Lincoln Park

This one is way more than just a trampoline park! Check out the adventure hub, high ropes course, climbing tunnels, tumbling tracks, and more at the eight existing Chicago locations, or wait for the new one to open in Lincoln Park. There are some attractions here that are an extra fee, like virtual reality and go karts.

4. SkyZone — 10+ Chicago area locations

We have found this to be among the more basic of Chicago trampoline parks, focusing mostly on the trampolines themselves with a dodgeball court, a few basketball hoops, and a foam pit with climbing wall. SkyZones seem the most likely to offer toddler time and sensory friendly time.  It's also the fastest growing trampoline park in the area with existing locations in Joliet, Aurora, Orland Park, Westmont, Elmhurst, Schaumburg, Lincoln Park, Evanston, and Vernon Hills, and centers under construction in Alsip, Lansing, Midway, Algonquin, Arlington Heights, and Deerfield.

5. SkyHigh Sports — Niles

This near north suburban jump center has a huge freestyle jumping court, along with dodgeball and basketball areas and a super-size foam pit. Check the website for weekly specials on Mondays through Thursdays, including family packages and extra hours of free or discounted jumping.

6. XFactor Trampoline — Mundelein

In addition to the main trampoline court and the dodgeball court, XFactor Trampoline has a foam pit, inflatables, and an arcade to keep your kids busy for hours. Check out XTreme evening hours for bigger kids who want a little more excitement with their jumps.

7. Ninja Kidz — Hammond, IN

Northwest Indiana has its own trampoline park fun! Ninja Kidz is known for its cleanliness and has a trampoline court, dodgeball, basketball, and more. Check out all of the fun obstacles inspired by the Ninja Kidz TV YouTube Channel.

8. Launch Family Entertainment — Gurnee

Can't decide between a trampoline park and bowling? This place has both, plus an arcade and a restaurant. Challenge yourself on the ninja course, or battle your friends and family on the battle pit or at a game of dodgeball or basketball.  They have hours set aside for toddlers on Sunday mornings and kids with special needs one day per month so that everyone can have fun.

9. Epic Air Trampoline Park — South Elgin

Epic Air prides itself on safely padded trampolines with regular safety checks and maintenence. There's an ultimate dodgeball court, long tracks for performing a series of stunts, and a giant foam pit for soft landings. Its toddler zone includes a ball pit, climbing structure, play kitchen, and soft play area.

10. Mega Fun Park — Aurora

This far west suburban trampoline park also has an arcade, VR games, mini bowling, skee ball and hot shot basketball. Look on the park's Facebook or Instagram for special deals on hourly admission or parties!
