Light Up the Park at Parkway Bank Park
Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district is thrilled to kick off the holiday season with the return of its Chicago Wolves Ice Rink Saturday, November 22, offering families and visitors a full season of winter fun. The rink will open for ice skating beginning at 11 a.m. Guests can enjoy a variety of other holiday offerings available throughout the afternoon leading up to the Park’s annual “Light Up The Park” tree lighting celebration that evening.
An array of free holiday activities will be available at “Light Up The Park” from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. including meet-and-greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn sleigh rides, carolers and ice sculpting demonstrations. At 5:30 p.m., Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens will officially flip the switch to illuminate the Park with a dazzling display of more than 80,000 holiday lights, creating the perfect backdrop for a magical evening. The ice rink will remain open until 10 p.m., and Parkway Bank Park’s restaurants and entertainment venues will welcome guests throughout the day.
Admission to the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink is free. Guests are invited to bring their own skates or rent a pair on-site for $8. For more information, visit ParkwayBankPark.com.
