Junior Farmer for a Day
Mon Feb 21, 2022 - Thu Feb 24, 2022
- see all dates
Repeating every days through February 24, 2022.
3:00pm to 5:00pm ET
Age: 5-12
Price: $45 ($36 for member children)
Become a farmer for the day during this February school vacation week drop-off activity. Children discover what farming looks like in the winter — from livestock habitats for farm animals to growing food during the cold New England winter months.
Children should come dressed to spend two hours outside. Layered clothing and waterproof boots are strongly suggested. This event is designed for children in grades K-5. The event is a drop-off, but one caretaker is welcome to stay and learn if interested. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Please note: Participants will be asked to follow Covid-19 related guidelines.
