Halloween Hikes & Haunted Quests at Chattahoochee Nature Center
- see all dates
The Chattahoochee Nature Center celebrates its 40th annual Halloween Hikes! Enjoy three special nights of not-so-scary guided Halloween hikes or Haunted Quests for ages 12+.
Ticket holders are guided through the forest to meet woodland creatures and hear how they live. Expect an evening filled with world music, crafts, campfires, and more.
This year, CNC is celebrating the many ways cultures around the world honor this time of year—from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain to the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos.
Food Trucks will be at the Ben Brady Pavilion. Friday: Hungry Hippo Eats; Saturday: The Patty Wagon; Sunday: Smash Hit Burgers
Hikes take about 30 - 45 minutes.
Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Activities include the Halloween Hike, where visitors meet the center’s resident raptors, amphibians, and mammals, or embark on the Haunted Quest, an immersive scavenger hunt through a dim-lit forest filled with clues to guide the way. Costumes are not required, but they are strongly encouraged.
Ticket Prices: $25 – Halloween Hike (all ages; ages 2 and under are free but require a reservation) | $25 – Haunted Quest (recommended for ages 12+, children must be accompanied by an adult) | $40 – Halloween Hike + Haunted Quest Bundle*
