Spooky Science Saturday at Tellus Science Museum
Sat Oct 18, 2025
10:00am to 4:00pm ET
Age: All ages
Price: $16 - $20
For those brave enough to explore the unknown, chart a course on a museum-wide scavenger hunt. Follow clues through the museum galleries and outside along the Czahor Solar System Trail to uncover a secret communication code.
Space explorers can also decorate a treat bag, watch Monsters v. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space, and journey through a twisting “corn” maze on the back patio with special black light activities.
Plus, don’t forget a stop by our Observatory! This is your chance to safely view our nearest star, the Sun. Using special filters on our solar telescope, we will look for sunspots and loops of hot hydrogen gas called prominences that extend off the disc of the Sun.
